Our technology imitates nature. It helps us to become more adaptable on the planet, since we don’t have feathers or gills or scales. Of course, the tricky part is not letting our inventions use us, take over and in turn destroy the very creatures that inspired us in the first place…technology is not wrong, it just needs to find its place in the balance of nature.
I absolutely love the white egrets that I see flying in flocks around our neighborhood in Popayán, Colombia. It was a treat to study and paint them.
